Christen Lien — Elpis

I was hired by contemporary composer, Christen Lien, to design the artwork for her concept album, Elpis, which deals with the myth of Pandora’s Box. I developed an symbols-based concept that attempts to capture the essence of two narratives: the original myth, and Lien’s proposal: Elpis breaks free from imprisonment.
